2. Kingston Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society:

   • The Kingston Branch is responsible, under the Ontario Genealogical Society's umbrella, for serving the needs of the genealogical community within the entire area of Frontenac County (including the City of Kingston) as well as in neighbouring Lennox & Addington County.

     The Branch has a new Queries feature that you might wish to take advantage of.

3. The Eastern Ontario History, Geography, and Genealogy Mailing List (EONTGEN-L):

   Hosted locally, EONTGEN-L is an excellent forum for asking questions and seeking answers about a wide range of topics throughout the entire Eastern Ontario region.

   Postings concerning any historical event, any place in Eastern Ontario, or any person from any time or place in Eastern Ontario, are encouraged, and interesting discussions can develop.

   Remember, our ancestors were just as mobile as we are today, and repeatedly moved across political boundaries in search of greeener grass.

   Posting to EONTGEN-L may help you find them as they moved across space and time.
