Hi: I am trying to find out what happened to my great-grandfather. His name was Thomas Hempton and he was born in Ireland in 1840-41. He settled in Hinchinbrooke, Addington County, Ontario and was on the 1871 Ontario Census and also listed as living there in 1878. He had ten children and I believe his wife's name was Martha but I am not sure of that. He had two sons, my grandfather, William George, and Robert, both of whom settled in Dominion City, Manitoba where they both died. However, there were also eight girls. I have been unable to find out any other info on this family. I would appreciate any help I can get.
